Refund Policy and Service Cancellation Policy
Please read this refund policy and service cancellation policy carefully. It describes the terms under which BytesPulse handles withdrawal, cancellation and refund requests for services such as domain registration, web hosting, SSL certificates, backups, support, web design and web development.
This Refund Policy and Service Cancellation Policy describes the conditions under which BytesPulse G.P. reviews requests for cancellation, withdrawal and refunds for services provided remotely through its website or through other electronic communication channels.
1. Scope
This policy applies exclusively to services and not to physical goods, as BytesPulse G.P. does not sell tangible products. This policy covers, in particular, services such as:
- Domain name registration, transfer and renewal
- Web hosting
- SSL certificates
- Backup services
- Technical support
- Web design
- Web development
- Other related digital or technical services
2. Customers to whom this policy applies
This policy mainly applies to customers acting as consumers under applicable European and national consumer protection law. If a customer acts for purposes related to their professional, business or trade activity, the specific contractual terms agreed between the parties may apply in priority.
3. Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer and enter into a distance contract for services, you generally have the right to withdraw from the contract within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date the contract was concluded, without giving any reason.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must send us a clear statement before the above period expires.
4. Immediate start of the service within the 14-day period
If you expressly request that the service start before the end of the withdrawal period, and the service begins within those 14 days, you may still exercise your statutory withdrawal right where applicable. In such a case, BytesPulse G.P. may retain an amount proportionate to the services already provided up to the date on which you informed us of your withdrawal.
5. Loss of the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal ceases to apply where permitted by applicable law, in particular when:
- the service has been fully performed,
- performance started with your prior express consent, and
- you acknowledged that you would lose your right of withdrawal once the service had been fully performed.
6. Specific rules by service category
6.1 Domain registration, transfer and renewal
Domain registration, transfer and renewal services are usually executed immediately by submitting the relevant request to registries or third-party registrars.
- If the order has not yet been submitted for processing, cancellation and a full refund may be possible.
- If the order has already been submitted, or the domain has already been registered, transferred or renewed, no refund will be available.
- Any registry, registrar or third-party fees already incurred are non-refundable.
6.2 SSL certificates
For SSL certificate orders, cancellation may only be possible before the certificate is issued or activated. Once the certificate has been issued, activated, or the relevant request has been submitted to the certification provider, no refund will be available unless it is demonstrated that the service was not provided as agreed and the issue cannot be remedied within a reasonable time.
6.3 Web hosting — Monthly plans
For web hosting plans with a duration of one (1) month:
- If the hosting account has not yet been activated, cancellation may be possible within the 14-day withdrawal period.
- If you requested immediate activation and the service has already started, a proportionate amount may be retained for the service already provided.
- After the 14-day period has expired, no refund is available simply due to a change of mind, unless another legal basis applies.
6.4 Web hosting — Annual plans
For web hosting plans with a duration of one (1) year:
- Before activation, the statutory right of withdrawal may be exercised where applicable.
- If the service started within the 14-day period following your express request, a proportionate amount may be charged up to the withdrawal date.
- After the 14-day period expires, no refund is available for the remaining annual term merely because the customer no longer wishes to use the service.
6.5 Backup services
Backup services follow the general rules applicable to digital services. Withdrawal may be exercised before the service starts, while a proportionate amount may be retained after performance has begun. If the service does not function as agreed and the issue is not remedied within a reasonable time, an appropriate price reduction or termination of the contract may be justified.
6.6 Technical support
For support services, if performance has not yet started, you may exercise withdrawal within 14 days. However, if support hours, diagnostics, technical interventions or other work have already been provided at your request, the proportionate value of the work already performed may be charged.
6.7 Web design & development
Web design and web development services are generally customised and performed progressively.
- Before work begins, a consumer may exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days.
- If work started within the 14-day period at your express request, the proportionate value of the work already performed may be charged.
- After full completion and delivery of the agreed service, withdrawal is not available where the relevant legal requirements are met.
7. Lack of conformity / improper service delivery
Independently of the right of withdrawal, if a service is not provided as agreed, presents substantial technical issues, or otherwise fails to conform to the contract, BytesPulse G.P. will make reasonable efforts to remedy the issue within a reasonable time. If this is not possible, an appropriate price reduction or termination of the contract may be justified depending on the circumstances.
8. Procedure for cancellation or refund requests
To request cancellation, withdrawal or a refund, you may contact us at info@bytespulse.com and include:
- Your full name or company name
- Your order or invoice number
- The service concerned
- The purchase date
- A brief description of the request or issue, where applicable
9. Timing and method of refunds
Where a refund is approved, it will be processed without undue delay and, as a rule, within fourteen (14) days from the date on which it is confirmed that the relevant request is lawful and accepted. Refunds will generally be made using the same means of payment used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.
10. Cases where no refund is available
- Where the service has been fully performed following the customer’s prior express consent.
- Where a domain registration, transfer or renewal has already been completed.
- Where an SSL certificate has already been issued or activated.
- Where the withdrawal period has expired and no other legal basis for a refund applies.
- Where the service has already been partially or fully provided following the customer’s request for immediate performance.
- Where the customer acts in the course of business and the applicable contract provides otherwise.

This policy applies in addition to the Terms of Use and the specific terms of each service. If a mandatory provision of applicable law grants a consumer greater protection, that provision shall prevail.
